In a word… is a living research programme that aims to foster a more self-supporting environment within Yorkshire for people who approach writing as an interdisciplinary act.

Running through to August 2011, In a word… will enable a series of public facing and artist-led talks and events. Each event will coincide with opportunities for practitioners, curators, programmers and producers to meet over good food, and share thinking.

The programme is being delivered in partnership with Arts Council England’s Yorkshire office, and will inform their future strategy for investment in multi-dimensional forms of writing.
